Bio: Currently based in Pune after recent stints in Mumbai and Delhi, I am a finance professional with over 15 years of experience across a variety of geographies, organisations and roles. My professional experience in India, North America and the Middle East across research, corporate finance, enterprise risk management, investments, financial planning, strategy and consulting was gained working with blue chip organisations such as PwC, India Infoline, ICICI, KPMG Corporate Finance, Investcorp and Tata Steel. While my vocation is finance, unrelated interests extend to travel, music, photography, home improvement and psychology, besides writing. A budding interest in behavioural finance/economics, decision making and rationality (or its converse, irrationality) is my current fixation. I am a qualified Chartered Accountant, CFA from the CFA Institute USA and most recently completed my PGDM with dual specialisation from the prestigious Indian School of Business, Hyderabad in 2009. I currently write on business, macro-economics, markets, and other matters. Publications have included ghost-written private blogs, this page, ivyclique.in, Economic Times, Indian School of Business's Insight Magazine, and Forbes India. Besides writing, I also take up advisory/consulting / research assignments in the area of Finance, and also undertake training & development workshops.
